The DNA of Giovanni John Raciti is mostly found in countries/populations of:
Ireland-Spain (R1b) and in Finland (U5) populations.
Population genetics: is the study of the allele frequency distribution and change under the influence of the four evolutionary forces: natural selection, genetic drift, mutation, gene flow and selective mating.
Natural selection: I have the same haplogroup membership as my wife: U5a1a
Genetic drift:
Mutation: Y-DNA in Iberia/Spain/France (10K ago) and mt-DNA in Greece/Balkan (45K ago)
Gene flow: From Y-DNA Spain-France-Italy-Sicily and mt-DNA Greece-Sicily.
Selective mating: The same haplogroup membership as my wife: U5a1a
Haplogroup R1b1a2: Single Nucleotide Polymorphism test: Positive for the following SNPs: P25+ M343+ M269+ M207+ M173+; Haplogroup R1b is the most common haplogroup in European populations. It is believed to have expanded throughout Europe as humans re-colonized after the last glacial period ended approximately 10-12 thousand years ago. This lineage is also the haplogroup containing the Atlantic modal haplotype.
